Montse started her recruiting career at Magellan Research Group, an expert network startup that sources executives and industry experts for short-term consulting projects. For three years, she developed her communications and networking skills while gaining experience managing hedge fund and private equity clients. Montse also took on internal hiring and development initiatives for the firm where she discovered a passion for helping candidates find the right opportunities. She is motivated by driving long-term value for clients and establishing meaningful connections. Montse previously worked in the translation and customer service industries.
Montse holds a B.A. from NYU in Spanish & Linguistics.

In my spare time I'm usually reading, discovering new restaurants and bars, baking, scoping out real estate on Zillow, or trying to learn a new language.
What is the oddest job you’ve ever had?
I was a hostess, waitress, and bartender at an LA-themed Mexican restaurant/dive bar in New York.
