Gary Calega – Managing Partner, Talent & Marketing Strategy

Gary has over 20 years experience running marketing, e-commerce, and business development organizations. Most recently, he was SVP of category management at Craftsy, a high growth online education and e-commerce company. Prior to joining Craftsy, Gary was VP of marketing at Coupons.com (IPO 2013) and managed all online and broadcast advertising, sponsorships, social media, affiliate, SEO, PPC, email and other marketing functions. Prior to Coupons.com, Gary was President of AgilOne, a marketing intelligence platform that helps clients maximize the lifetime value of their customers using predictive data analysis. Prior to his role at AgilOne, Gary ran business development for SendMe, a leading mobile company. Before SendMe, Gary held executive positions at eBay, including head of seller user acquisition, and category manager of their consumer electronics business. He holds a B.S. degree from Villanova University and an M.B.A. from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania.

Greg Fant – Managing Partner, Strategy

Greg Fant has extensive product, marketing and general management experience in both strategy and operations. Considered one of the leading CMOs in Silicon Valley, Greg most recently ran marketing at Thumbtack. Prior to that, Greg led marketing for One Kings Lane. Greg spent 10 years at eBay where he most recently held the position of vice president of North America marketing. In this role, he was responsible for all North America marketing functions, global marketing infrastructure development, and oversaw eBay’s substantial marketing budget and a team of more than 100. Greg held additional senior management roles at eBay ranging from vice president of eBay buyer experience, vice president of global customer analytics, vice president of eBay global product strategy and seller product management, and vice president and divisional merchandise manager. Earlier in his career, Greg held positions at The Coca-Cola Company, Feld Entertainment, Cerrell Associates and also worked as a staff aide for the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton-Gore campaign.

Jim Kingsbury – Managing Partner, Performance Marketing

From starting his career as the second international product manager at Amazon to most recently leading all marketing at One Kings Lane — with stints at Zappos, Art.com & as co-founder of a venture-funded start-up along the way — Jim has seen the full arch of e-commerce growth over the past two decades. His expertise spans the entire panoply of performance & “math” marketing, with particular emphasis on innovating new approaches to keep clients ahead of the curve. Jim got his undergraduate degree from Yale and an MBA from Stanford.

Carolyn Pollock – Managing Partner, Brand & Marketing Strategy

Carolyn Pollock is a Marketing and eCommerce Consultant who is passionate about building brands. She taps her nearly 20 years of marketing experience to develop high impact strategies and programs that help her clients (including Thumbtack, Facebook, Yardsellr, Dolby, and One Kings Lane) connect with their consumers to build relevant and fruitful relationships. Prior to managing her own consulting business, Carolyn held several marketing leadership positions at eBay including managing marketing strategy and planning for eBay Motors and leading eBay’s Relationship Marketing and internal creative teams.

Dan Weiner – Managing Partner, Talent & Marketing Strategy

Dan has over 20 years experience in marketing and product development. Most recently he was VP of Product at Placeable, a local marketing automation platform for enterprise brands. Prior to Placeable, Dan was the EVP of Marketing & Products at T3Media, a video licensing and asset management platform for major media companies and sports leagues. Before that, he was GM of New York for Red Bricks Media, a search and performance marketing agency. Prior to that, Dan was at Sony Music as Vice President, Online Media Network, where he launched a new business to monetize the company’s video assets and artist websites. In addition, Dan held product and marketing roles at Idealab and Priceline.com. Dan holds a B.A. from Harvard and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Robert Glazer – Advisor

Robert Glazer, founder and managing director of Acceleration Partners, is a customer acquisition specialist with an exceptional track record in growing revenue and profits for fast-growing consumer products and services companies. In demand by top consumer brands and investment firms, Robert has extensive consulting experience and demonstrated thought leadership in the consumer, e-commerce, retail, online marketing, and ad-tech industries.
